Airaudi is decidedly from Vallo Torinese, with stocks also in Cafasse, Turin and Robassomero, all in Turin, Airaudo is also specific to Turin, Villafranca Piemonte and Turin, with a stock also in Bagnolo Piemonte in the Cuneo area, they should derive from the name medieval Germanic Hariwald, meaning the one who leads the army, or even the name of Lombard origin Ariovaldo (see AIRALDI).
