Alcamo, typically Sicilian, from Trapani, particularly concentrated in Alcamo, Trapani, Mazara del Vallo and Erice, with stocks also in Ficarazzi and Palermo in the Palermo area, and in Lentini in the Syracuse area, it could derive from the Arabic name Alqamah, but it is also possible, in some cases derive from the Trapani toponym Alcamo.
