ALCESTE | ALCESTI | CESTE | CESTI

Alceste and Alcesti are almost unique, Ceste is decidedly Piedmontese, from Turin, Asti and Cuneo, especially from Costigliole (AT) and Govone (CN), Cesti, absolutely rare, would seem to have had a strain between Varese and Pavia, probably in Uboldo and one in the Modena area, especially in Finale Emilia and Castelvetro di Modena, which still exists, should derive from the surname of the name Alceste brought by the progenitor, both for aphaeresis and with the same name.
