Alcini, has an Umbrian stock in Massa Martana and Giano dell'Umbria in Perugia and in Terni and Narni in the Terni area, and one in Pineto in Teramo, Alcino is almost unique, should derive from the Latin name Alcinus derived from the Homeric name Αλκίνοος Alcinoo, cited in the Odyssey, brought by the King of the Phaeacians who supplies Ulysses with the boat to return to Ithaca.
