Amella. extremely rare, it would seem to originate from San Biagio Platani (AG), Amello, almost unique, should be from central Italy, could derive from the very rare Latin praenomen Amellus (Amella) originating from the name of a flower, as we read in Virgil in the fourth book Georgiche: "... Est etiam flos in pratis, whose name is made in agriculture, ...".
