Anese is typical of Concordia Sagittaria, Portogruaro, Cinto Caomaggiore and Fossalta di Portogruaro in the Venetian area and of Pordenone and Fiume Veneto in the Pordenone area, it should derive from the name of the village of Borgo Anese in the Treviso area, probably the place of origin of the founders.
