ARCOLIN | ARCOLINI | ARCOLINO

Arcolin is specific to Padua and Correzzola in the Paduan area, Arcolini is typical of Massa and Carrara, with a stock also in the Veronese area of Cerea and Salizzole, Arcolino is almost unique, it could be an apheretic form of a hypocoristic name Marco, but most probably they are ethnic forms of toponyms such as Arcola in La Spezia or Arcole in the Veronese, or derive directly from toponyms such as Arcolino of Santa Croce sull'Arno in Pisa.
