Ardisio is practically unique, Ardizio has a lineage in the Varese area and one in the Neapolitan, Ardizzi, quite rare, has a nucleus in the south of Milan, Pavia and Lodi and a secondary stock in the Teramo area, deriving from the Italogermanic name Arditius. We find this name with Arditius bishop of Modena (1179-1195).
