ASPRELLI | ASPRELLO | ASPRIELLO

Asprelli would seem unique, Asprello, very very rare, is Genoese, Aspriello, almost unique, it would seem Lucan, should derive from hypocoristic dialectal forms of the Latin name Asperius or Asper of which we have an example with the Latin grammarian of the first century Aemilius Asper, we find then a use in the fifth century in this book on roosters: "..in villas cognominatis Treviciaco, Melarione, Cadugio, Imantia et Tornotrinse, de quibus Asper quondam ibidem tenuit ..".
