Barlocchi, very rare, would seem to be from Milan, Barlocco is typical of the province of Savona, should derive from the medieval name Barlocco of which we have an example in a Sienese recording of the year 1241 where a certain Dietisalvi, son of Bernardo del fu Barlocco, is mentioned.
