BURANA | BURANI

Burana, almost unique, would seem to be from Piacenza, Burani It seems to have two stocks, one between Modena and Reggio and one in the province of Perugia, they could derive from toponyms such as Burana (FE) or Burano, a town of Cagli in the Pesaro area, but most probably derives from the name Germanic medieval Bueren or Beuren cited for example by Guicciardini in his Storia d'Italia: "... Therefore, Beuren, an intimate and very accepted waiter, is to notify the captains of his deliberation and to visit the king of France in his name, ... ".
