Cazzolaro, very very rare, is typical of the Paduan area, of Galliera Veneta in particular, it could derive from an incorrect transcription of the Calzolaro surname, but it is much more likely a derivation from a nickname originated from the term cazzola or cazzuola (mason's tool), perhaps originated from the mason's job done by the progenitor.
