CADORE | CADORI | CADORIN | CADORINI

Cadore is quite rare and is typical of the upper Belluno area and of Bassano del Grappa and the surrounding area in the Vicenza area. Cadori and Cadorini, very rare are found in the Brescia area, Cadorin is typical of the Belluno area and Treviso, and should derive from the many toponyms containing the word Cadore or from the relative ethnic. additions provided by Davide Cadore my ancestors resided in Mason Vicentino since 1600 and so for other Cadore today residing in Bassano and Nove. From the documents that are kept in my family we were able to trace back at least to the place of origin of our family stock: Sospirolo, a village in the province of Belluno, which the family left following the concession of land in the Vicenza area by the Republic of Venice for services rendered to the Republic itself.
