Calistri has a stock in Pistoia and in the Pistoia, Florentine and Bolognese at Granaglione and Porretta Terme, and one at Viterbo and Rome, Calistro, absolutely rare, it would seem of Piceno, Calistroni has a stock in the Perugian in Marsciano and Perugia, and one in the Viterbo area at Civitella d'Agliano and Viterbo, they should derive, either directly or through augmentations, from the Latin name Callistrus or Calistrus, we recall in the 1st century a Callistrus prefect of the Praetorian Guard of the Emperor Tiberius.
