CALLEGARINI

Callegarini, very rare, has a stock in the Pavia area, one in Mantua and one in the Ferrara area. It derives from a hypocoristic form of the late Latin word caligarius (shoemaker), that is, who produced or traded in shoes (in Latin calzatura = caliga).
