Etymological origin of Italian surname: Calu'

CALU | CALU'

Calu is practically unique, it should be a transcription error of Calù which, very rare, is specific of the Reggio area, should derive from a dialectal nickname derived from an alteration of the name Calò, in turn derived from the Greek term kalos (beautiful).
