Camardella, quite rare, has various stocks, one small in Rome, one in Naples and the Neapolitan in Ercolano, Arzano and Portici, one in the Foggia area in San Giovanni Rotondo and Lesina, and in Bari and Casamassima in the Bari area, one in Melfi in the Potentino and in Pisticci in the Matera area, Camardelli, extremely rare, is typical of the centrosud, Camardello, practically unique, is of the Neapolitan, it should be an ethnic form referring to a toponym Camarda present for example in Abruzzo, Campania and Basilicata (see CAMARDA)
