CAPUZZELLI | CAPUZZELLO

Capuzzelli, almost unique, should be from Salento and most likely it is due to a recording error by Capuzzello, which would seem to be specific to Nardò in the Lecce area, and which should derive from a nickname originated from the fact of having the progenitor a head smaller than normal , or from the fact of being small of build and to manage of the men perhaps for the job of the fields.
