We find traces of these surnames in Narni in 1600 in an act of 1652: "... Coram illustrissimo et admodum reverendissimo vicar generals Narnie processus remissorialis pro dominis de Gregorio et Camillo de Cardonibus nominibus contra reverendissimum dominum abbatem Deodatum ...".
