Cerantola is typical of the Vicenza area, of Tezze sul Brenta in particular and of Bassano del Grappa, Rosà and Romano d'Ezzelino, with a stock also in Loria in the Treviso area and Cavarzere in the Venetian dialect, it should derive from the name of the town Cerantola di Tezze sul Brenta.
