A fairly rare cleric from Barese, Chirico seems to have more stocks, on the Campania coast, in the area that includes the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, in the Reggio, Messina and Catanzaro areas, Chirigo is practically unique, they should derive, directly or through augmentation, from the name medieval Chirico derived from the Greek Byzantine word Kyericos with the meaning of literate or scribe.
