CIFALDI | CIFALDO | GIFALDI

Cifaldi has a small stock in Teramo, one in Rome, one in the Avellino area of Montaguto and Ariano Irpino and one in Campolattaro in the Benevento area, and one in Puglia in the Foggia area, in Foggia, Orta Nova, Cerignola, Stornara and Lucera, Cifaldo and Gifaldi are practically unique and seem to be from Campania, it should be an Italianization of the Norman name Giffard, latinized first in Giphaldus, then in Cifaldo, a name probably brought by the progenitors.
