Etymological origin of Italian surname: Concilia

CONCILI | CONCILIA | CONCILIO

Councils, practically unique and Concilia that it is almost probably due to an incorrect transcription of Concilio, which is a typical surname of Campania, of Baronissi, Salerno, Scafati, Battipaglia, Pontecagnano Faiano, Eboli and Fisciano in the Salerno area and of Naples, Giugliano of Campania and Casoria in the Neapolitan dialect, it should derive from the medieval name Concilius, of which we have an example of use in this paper of 1619: "..Alexander episcopus, servas servorum Dei ... ".
