Consular, almost unique, is from Friuli, Consolaro is from the Veneto, in particular from Vicenza, from Arzignano, Crespadoro, Chiampo, Valdagno and Vicenza and Verona, should derive from the fact that the founders had had a consular post, that is, they were one of the three patricians charged with resolving in the first instance merchant disputes in the name of the Most Serene Republic of Venice.
