Correnti has a Sicilian nucleus and a Milanese lineage to which the famous Cesare Correnti belonged (1815 - 1888 ) who was one of the organizers of the 5 days of Milan and became secretary of the Provisional Government of Lombardy, was later a senator of the Kingdom of Italy and president of the Italian Geographic Society from 1873 to 1879.
