The indication from the Canton referred to a perona inhabitant of Quero appears, however, relatively late, only in the second half of the 1400s, with Vetor di Antonio dal Canton. Probably Vetor did not come from outside, but was from Quero, from some family, for now not identifiable, within which a branch assumed that new name.
