FABRELLI | FABRELLO

Fabrelli, almost unique, would seem to be from Romagna, while Fabrello is specific to the Vicenza area, in particular Arsiero, Piovene Rocchette, Marano Vicentino, Velo d'Astico, Dueville and Santorso, they should derive from hypocoristic forms originating from the medieval word faber (blacksmith, but also more generically artisan), probably to indicate the activity of the founders.
