Etymological origin of Italian surname: Fiora

Fiora is specific to Lombardy and Piedmont, normally deriving from the Italian medieval name Fiora, but it is also possible to derive from toponyms containing the root Fiora, such as Santa Fiora (AR), (GR), or La Fiora (GR), ( LT), or even the root Fiorano, as there are many of them all over Italy, we find traces of these surnames in the Varese area with the tailor Beltramo da Fiora of Maccagno Inferiore.
