FLORESTANI | FLORESTANO

Both very rare, Florestani would seem Tuscan, while Florestano is probably southern, difficult but feasible to derive from the toponym Floresta (ME), more likely a derivation from the medieval name Florestano of which we have an example in 1500 with a certain Florestano Pepe, born in Squillace (CZ), Vicar General of the Archbishop of Genoa.
