Leardi has stocks in the Alexandrian and Genoese, in the Pescara, Roman and Caserta regions, Leardini has a large stock in the Verona area and in the nearby area of Mantua, one in the Rimini area, with significant presences also in the Bolognese, Ravenna, Forlì and Pesaro areas, and one Rome and in the Viterbo and Latin regions, Leardo, absolutely rare, would seem to be from Messina, Liardi, very very rare, it would seem to have a stock in the Pescara area and one in the Neapolitan, Liardo is typical of the Neapolitan, with a stock also in the Florentine, it should be apheretic forms, also hypochoristic, of the surname Aleardi or Aliardi (see ALEARDI) or directly derive from the apheresis of Longobard names like Aleardus, probably brought by the progenitors.
