LELARIO

Lelario has a stock in Barletta in the Bari area and one in the Potentino area in Avigliano and Potenza, it could be an alteration of the French surname of Picardy Leloir (pronounced leluar), which in turn derives from a nickname originated from the French term loir (dormouse) , perhaps attributed to those who slept a lot, a surname probably arrived in Italy in the wake of the Angevins.
