Levantesi has a stock in the Ascoli area of Fermo, Sant'Elpidio a Mare and Porto Sant'Elpidio, and in Civitanova Marche in the Macerata area, and a strain in Rome, Levantini, very rare, has minimal presences in Tuscany, still smaller in the Marche and in Abruzzo, with a small stock in Rome and its environs, it could be various ethnic forms referring to ancestors from the city of La Spezia in Levanto, but it is not excluded that it indicates an eastern provenance, from the lands of Levante.
