LIPRANDI

Liprandi, very rare, is typically Piedmontese, from Cuneo in particular, from Cuneo, Frabosa Soprana, Mondovì and Priola, it should derive from the apheretic form of the Germanic medieval name Aliprandus, a corrupt form of the more common Alibrandus (see ALIPRANDI).
