LORENZANI | LORENZANO

Lorenzani would seem to be specific to the area that includes the provinces of Parma Reggio Emilia and Massa, Lorenzano instead has a stock in the Crotone area of Cutro and Crotone and one in Sicily in Aragon in the Agrigento region with presences also in Noto in the Syracuse area, the northern stock could derive from toponyms like Lorenzana (MS) or (PI), the southern lineage could derive from the toponym Laurenzana in the Potentino, while the Sicilian lineage could originate from Tuscany.
