NATARELLA | NATARELLI

Natarella, very very rare, would seem typical of Lanciano in the Theatine, Natarelli, more widespread, still from Abruzzo, has a stock in Vasto in Theatine and one in Pescara in Bussi sul Tirino, San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore and Pescara, with a very small stock also in Montefalcone in Sannio in the Campobasso area, Natarella should derive from the medieval name, Natarella, of which we have an example of use in a French script of 1387, it should be a hypocoristic form originated on the name Natale, equivalent therefore to Natalino and Natalina.
