Etymological origin of Italian surname: Nose'

NOSE | NOSE'

Nose, almost unique, should be due to a mistaken transcription of the surname Nosè, which, quite rare, is typical of the Veronese, of Nogara, Verona and Sanguinetto, could be of toponymic origins and derive from the fact that the founders lived near a walnut grove, much less likely a connection with the Valle lariana of the Nosè stream or with the Piedmontese and Lombard towns with that name.
