PAPAROPOLI

Paparopoli, very rare, is typical of Palermo, Villabate and Misilmeri, should be of Greek or Albanian origin, it should be a dialectal form of the Greek surname Papadopoulos, composed in turn by the term papas (priest or person of respect) with the addition of the suffix -opoulos, patronymic form, which would indicate the son of an orthodox priest or in any case of a person worthy of the utmost respect.
