Petrolini, is specific of Parma and Traversetolo in the Parma area, with a stock also in San Marcello Pistoiese in the Pistoia area and a very small one in Ancona, Petrolino, decidedly more rare, is specific of the Reggio area, in particular of Gallico, should derive from a hypocristic of the name Pietro. The most famous Petrolini was Ettore, a famous comedian, better known as Ridolini.
