PILOTA | PILOTI

Pilot, absolutely rare, would seem to be from central Italy, Pilots, if possible even more rare, would seem to be from the north. additions provided by Da Fabio Paolucci (Salerno) Pilota is extremely rare, it would seem typical of the Marche coastal area on the border with Abruzzo. From the etymological point of view, given the absolute rarity of the surname, I can only formulate hypotheses, which should be corroborated by targeted archival research.
