PRAVADELLI

Pravadelli, very rare, would be native of Veronese, probably of Legnago, could derive from a name of locality now disappeared, probably a large grassy area owned by a Vatia or a Vetellius, probably names of Roman veterans who was been destined for the plot of land, but it is also possible that it derives from the fact that in the family there was a young priest and that the surname is a dialect hypochoristic form derived from the medieval term prevate (priest).
