Sanza is typical of power, Sanzi, very rare, it has a stump in the Cosentino and one in the Catanzaro, Sanzio, very very rare, it is of the South, Sanzo has a stump with Chiaravalle Centrale (CZ), one with Gela (CL) and one with Palermo, they should all derive from dialectal modifications of the name Medieval Sanctius, in turn derived from the name Sanctus, traces of this cognitive knowledge are found in 1400: additions provided by Giovanni Vezzelli Sanza is the surname Campania and Lucano, perhaps from the homonymous toponym in the province of Salerno, in the Middle Ages marked Even as Sansa.
