Saracca has a small strain between Parma and Reggiano and one in Perugia and Marsciano in Perugino, Saracco is typical of the provinces of Turin and Asti, Alexandria and Genoa, while Saracchi is extremely rare and would seem of Emilian origin, should derive from the term Saracco or Arby (sort of saw) that would indicate the craft of the carpenter or the master of Axe probably carried out by the founder.
