TARLARINI

Tarlarini, typically Lombard, is specific to Milanese and Pavese, Milan, San Colombano al Lambro and Pavia, could derive from a dialect nickname based on the term Milanese archaic tarlis (very sparse canvas) and perhaps identify in the founder a Weaver, but, much more probably, it should be an archaic apheretic hypochoristic form derived from the Lombard name Autari.
