VAJNA

Virtually unique perhaps of Slavic origin. Additions provided by Eugenio Vajna de Pava the surname (Vajna de Pava) is not of Slavic origin, but Hungarian, of Székely of Transylvania Romanian today, the family is Italian only from 1888, the original name was Pàvai Vajna, or Vajna of the branch coming from Pàva, near Brasov.
