Valteri, extremely rare, it would seem specific of Ponte Buggianese in Pistoiese, Valterio has a stump in Antrona Schieranco and nearby areas in the Val D'ossola and one in Orvieto and Alviano in the Ternano, should derive from the medieval name Valterius (a form of the name Gualtiero) of which we have an example in an act of the year 1146 in Soltarico in the Lodigiano: "In Christi nomine.
