VAROLI | VAROLO

Varoli is specific to Parma with a small strain in Faenza in Ravenna, one in Genoa and one in Pontremoli in the Massese, could derive from apheretic forms of toponyms as Rivarolo in Genovese or in Parma, but, much more likely, derives, as Varolo, that, Absolutely very rare, it has a small piedmontese stump and one in the Rovigoto, from a hypochoral form Varolus of the Latin name Varus (see VARIOUS).
