VIDOTTI | VIDOTTO

Vidotti, very very rare, typical of Udinese, it seems specific to Pagnacco, Vidotto is well diffused in the Veneto, particularly in the Trevisano, in Ponte di Piave, Trevignano, Gaiarine, Chiarano, Povegliano, Treviso, Cimadolmo and San Polo di Piave, and in the Venetian, to Iesolo, Caorle, San Donà di Piave, Santo Stino di Livenza and Eraclea, should derive from Hypochoristic name Guido in the original Germanic form Wido.
