Visca has a Ligurian strain, Piedmontese and one in L'aquilano and in the Lazio area of the Roman, Latinense and Frusinate, Vischi has an Apulian strain in Bari, Visco is typically Campano, very widespread in Naples and Vico equense in Neapolitan, Cervino in the Caserta and Salerno, Agropoli, Angri and Battipaglia in Salerno, should derive from nicknames linked to Apheretic dialectal forms originated from alterations of the Latin word episcopus (bishop).
