Vitale is Panitaliano, with a prevalence in the South, Vitaletti has a strain in the Anconetano, in particular in Sassoferrato, and one in Rome, Vitali is specific to the North Center, Vitalini is very rare it seems specific of the Sondriese, Vitalone has a Neapolitan nucleus and one Calabrese Sinopoli (RC), Vitaloni, very rare, it has a nucleus in the South Milanese and Lodigiano, with possible strains in the Anconetano, in the Massa and in the Ternano, Vitalucci, very rare, is decidedly marchigiano, of Frontone and Serra Sant'Abbondio in the urbinate, derive all, directly or through hypochoristic, from the cognomen Latino Vitalis or Vitalianus. Traces of these cognitive-cognizations we find for example in Calabria in Sinopoli in the first half of 1600 a certain Vitalone Gustino and master and Procurator of the Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit.
