Vitucci has a small strain of Abruzzo, between Teatino and Aquilano, a Roman strain, a Neapolitan, but the nucleus is in the Bari with small presences also in Basilicata, Vituccio, practically unique, is probably due to errors of transcription, should derive from Hypochoral modifications of the Latin cognomen Vitus (see also LIFE).
